We went to the Talschänke for the first time today. Everything was fine. Attentive service and very tasty food. We had two rump steaks with side dishes that were cooked to the point. We will come back in any case.

Top restaurant. Due to the good experience we had here, we also hosted our daughter's first communion in the Talschänke. The tables were decorated with a lot of love according to our wishes. The food and service were excellent as always. We felt very comfortable and will of course be back. The restaurant itself is always worth a visit. In summer you can sit in the beer garden. The portions are huge and we always liked the food. The prices are reasonable as the quality of the food is very good. You can tell that the landlord does his job with passion. Definitely recommended.

Those who deal with their guests in this way should not be surprised if someday no one comes. There are so many other great restaurants nearby, we avoid the Talschänke.

Not recommendable! The boss or owner cannot be a specialist. Anyone who deals with their guests in this way will have no lasting success. Succulent prices with mediocre quality and underground complaint management.

By the way: 4 stars are one for me very well !! Was invited with other 20 invited guests for the 80th birthday of my friends. We sat at a very nicely set table. Was there for the first time and was pleasantly surprised that it was such a beautiful restaurant in a relaxed, informal atmosphere and a wonderful one! Beer garden still exists here in the middle of the Ruhr area. Excellent delicious cuisine, the ordered menu was served hot and at the right intervals between courses. super well-kept selection of drinks and delicious beers. The staff are very friendly and careful. I can only recommend the Talschänke! I was not here for the last time and will happily recommend it.
